Reflection - D#1, HW#1

Reflection is often overlooked as a useful and beneficial tool. After reviewing the course handbook/syllabus, numerous websites and the introduction to the Concise Wadsworth Handbook, I've discovered there a few things that will enable me to stay organized and focused on tasks.

The first tool I'll be using consistently is the Deadline Assignments listed in the syllabus. It's organized so well that it can be used effectively as a checklist. The second tool, my Gmail account, has numerous features such as a calendar to keep track of when assignments are due, list of contacts easily accessible, and an archive feature which means I won't need to worry about deleting emails. The third tool, which I find extremely helpful is the design features listed in the Concise Wadsworth Handbook. The design features contains items such as, computer tips, numerous checklists, and marginal cross-references which will be very helpful when I need to locate information quickly.

"Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action." Peter F. Drucker
