Voting is important to me as it affects everyone and everything around me. It affects people I live with, work with and do business with. It affects my children and the schools they go to, plan to go to and the environment they will live in once I'm gone. Voting happens in almost every stage of life whether it's a political election, families deciding what to have for dinner, children learning they have a say in what they wear and when. Every vote counts and should be heard.
