Accuracy levels of this article were free of errors in sentence structure, usage and grammar. This article was pulled from a college database ERIC. A list of references was not located on the website. There are links available to check other reference material such as a thesaurus. The author(s) are clearly identified.
Credibility has been confirmed through research that the first author, Shanto Iyengar, is the Director of the Political Communication Lab at Stanford University where he teaches Political Communication and Mass Media Effects. Research also confirms that the second author, Simon Jackman, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Rochester University teaching Political Science. Both of these authors are authorities in their perspective fields. The database displays a logo in the upper left hand corner further leading to credibility of source.
Objectivity was apparent as no advertising appeared in the text. The EBSCO corporation founded in 1944 hosts the site. The site provides information to all students.
Currency status confirmed by clicking on other links through the website that still function. Information on the webpage is current and accurate. The web site lists the current year at the bottom of each page.
Coverage is provided for most all topics for educational purposes. The site provides adequate coverage for most topics. The site is user friendly for all age groups.
Both web sites are reliable and authoritative, however, NYRA is biased as they are dedicated to Youth causes.
