D#6, HW#11 - Deadline Reflection

Chapter 5’s: Rhetorically Reading Sources – this was an eye-opening reading experience. I thought I was doing a good job annotating my bibliographies. Unfortunately, every single one I chose to analyze I ended up changing, rearranging or revising altogether. One AB I had to ditch altogether because I couldn’t locate it through the original source. The grammar assignment for me doesn’t do much. Although I generally do not use a lot of big words, my sentencing structure and spelling is usually dead on. I do have issues with commas, because I always remember hearing “Always use a comma where you think you need to pause.” Of course I have no clue who told me that now.

I replied to the following classmates:
Alexis’s Blog – D#6, HW#5, 6, 7, 8
Latron’s Blog – D#6, HW#1
Shawn’s Blog – D#6, HW#2-3

This weeks homework assignments have really helped as far as ensuring I include enough information with my annotated bibliographies to make sense not only to myself, but also to those I need to share my research work with. As the WP#2 was due today, I personally would have benefited even more with lessons towards citing things correctly. Perhaps that’s in a lesson to come…
