D#2, HW#5 - Analyzing the Rhetorical Situation

  • Purpose – Voting debates on who and why people vote (i.e. young teenagers, young adults, seniors, etc.) Determine how to better educate all Americans and encourage inclusive voting, which may affect Global as well.
  • Audience – Recent events regarding the political decisions on the war in Iraq which affect all. Provide a better understanding that voting is not only a privilege, it’s also a right and the right thing to do. Vote! Take a stand on issues. Be aware of issues affecting local, state and federal levels by education.
  • Context – Personal history with voting. Encourage others to utilize their privilege and right(s) accordingly. Demonstrate information streamed from web sites such as political parties, local voting outcome web sites, and web directories featuring voting articles, statistics, etc.
