• What is the research question?
  

• The topic for my research question is voting. I have narrowed this broad topic to Voting and Education Awareness. The research question currently is “Should voting be a required subject/course nationwide for all levels of education?”
  

• What is the context?
  

• I will be relying on my personal background, experiences and thoughts for the initial content material of this proposal with the distinction to further research the issue fully.
  

• What is the purpose?
  

• I will ascertain if communicating information regarding the voting process is a necessity throughout all levels of education and recommended a solution if possible.
  

• Who is the audience?
  

• My fellow classmates and professor will be addressed with this research proposal in the hopes of being able to provide beneficial feedback and suggestions to ensure a clear concept with detailed information.
  

• How do you fit into the context?
  

• This issue is personal because of my own struggles with learning about voting. I also have children that I will need to educate regarding voting and want to be prepared for knowledgeable discussions.
  

• How do the answers to these five questions affect one another and your understanding of the topic?
  

• I believe there still exists a fundamental problem with ensuring young adults are fully educated regarding voting. Documenting reliable sources that have cited the same concern will hopefully lead intended readers to seek education reform regarding voting and it’s place in the academic field.
