D#5, HW#3 - Peer Review Reflection

After completing my three peer reviews, I went back and reviewed the comments left by Tomoko & Ryan on my WP#1. Tomoko commented on how one of my points was weak. Great tip! I will definitely look into clarifying and specifying that point. Unfortunately, at this time Tomoko is the only commentator for my WP#1. Ryan noted that I didn’t include which resources I’ll be using for my project. Well I had no clue until I read Chapter 4 for this deadline. Thank you both for leaving comments on my paper, it will definitely help develop the research process more constructively!

I then reviewed my entire WP#1 to see where I needed to improve. I concluded that I did not provide enough knowledgeable details to sound creditable and although the outline looks intact, it lacked substance. I will be working on these points over the next few days.

I reviewed my WP#1 via Turnitin.com and it shows a 2% match (internet). It appears to be a coincidence between my personal experience listed in my WP#1 starting with “I turned 18” and another web-site that had a story ending with the same phrase “….I turned 18.” It’s good to have verification that I’m not plagiarizing someone else’s thoughts or ideas.
